Invite Mi-Hyun Woo 3rd Compositon Recital
[Performance Introduction]
The theme of this presentation is love and healing.
This performance was specially planned to show how teachers write songs that our students write as essential assignment songs.
I held my first work presentation in 2019, and since then, I have been planning concerts with themes of research for each concert.
The topic of my research these days is 'research on works that can be played a lot by performers'. This work also focused on such a goal.
While looking for a suitable theme for this collection of songs, I happened to come across a collection of poems by poet Ryu Si-hwa, titled ‘If you are shaken by the spring breeze, you are a flower’.
I worked with the hope that many people would know the works of this beautiful collection of poems and be healed of life.
Normally, poems are included in the performance of gagok instead of commentary on the work, but we ask for your understanding for not including the poems because many poems are used in one collection of poems.
If you meet these beautiful poems in person, I think you will be moved and healed more than my music.
I am deeply grateful to poet Ryu Si-hwa and publisher Suo Seojae for allowing me to use this poem.
