Cellist Yoosin Park, who won 2nd prize at the Leoš Janáček International Competition in 2018, attracted the attention of the European music scene by winning 2nd prize at the International Anton Rubinstein Competition in 2018. She also stood out by winning 1st prize at the Ensemblewettbewerb der Hochschule für Musik Dresden in 2017 and 2nd prize and a special prize at the International Johannes Brahms Competition in 2015.
Yoosin Park performed at the Sächsische
Staatskapelle Dresden Academy in 2018. She performed with the Southwest German
Philharmonic Orchestra, the Erzgebirgische Philharmonie Aue, the Russian
National Ballet Orchestra, and the Hochschulsinfonieorchester der Hochschule
für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden under the renowned conductor Kurt
Sanderling. In Cremona, she performed the Vivaldi Double Concerto with her
teacher Emil Rovner, and the L.V. Beethoven ‘Tripelkonzert’ (Op.56) with pianist
Dong-Hyek Lim, violinist Young-Uk Kim, and the KBS Symphony Orchestra. She also
performed at renowned international music festivals such as the Casalmaggiore
International Music Festival in Italy, the Buchenau International Music
Festival, and renowned European halls such as the Berliner Philharmoniker
Kammermusiksaal and the Rammenau Baroque Hall. In Korea, she has collaborated
with the Pohang Philharmonic Orchestra, Jeonju Symphony Orchestra, Ulsan
Philharmonic Orchestra, Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Symphony Orchestra, Korean
Chamber Orchestra, and Changwon Philharmonic Orchestra.
Following the recital < Russian Cello
> with pianist Hanna Hyunjung Kim at the Seoul Arts Center IBK Chamber Hall in
February 2019, she completed a national tour of < Russian Cello II> with pianist
Ilya Rashkovskiy in February 2021 as the second series. As the artistic
director of the < Autumn Chamber Music Festival > in October 2019, she
worked with fellow musicians active on the world stage, such as cellist Norbert
Anger, pianist Florian Uhlig, and violist Diyang Mei. Since then, she has
successfully completed a total of six < Autumn Chamber Music Festivals>,
and the sustainability of the festival has been recognized. Since 2021, she has

Yoosin Park graduated from College of Music
KyungHee University with full scholarships and first place in her class. She
graduated with full marks from the Master’s degree at Hochschule für Musik Carl
Maria von Weber Dresden in 2015, and also graduated with Konzertexamen (AKA
Concert exam, the highest postgraduate degree) from the same university. She studied
under Kyung-Ok Park, Young-Hoon Song, and Emil Rovner. She currently teaches at
KyungHee University, Ewha Womans University, and Hanyang University, and is
also committed to nurturing the next generation.
Florian Uhlig, Pianist

That was the assessment published by the
doyen of music critics, Joachim Kaiser, of a recording of Beethoven’s piano
variations released on the hänssler CLASSIC label in 2009.
Since then, Florian Uhlig has recorded some
30 other releases: complete works for piano and orchestra of Robert Schumann
and Dmitri Shostakovich, piano concertos by Ravel, Poulenc, Françaix, Debussy
and Penderecki, as well as Ravel’s and Schumann’s complete works for solo
piano. The 19-volume Schumann cycle was honoured with the 2021 German Record
Critics’ Prize, an OPUS KLASSIK award in 2022 and the 2023
Robert-Schumann-Prize of the city of Zwickau, Schumann’s birthplace.
Florian Uhlig was born in Düsseldorf and
gave his first piano recital at the age of twelve. He studied in London at the
Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, finishing with the
concert diploma.
Florian Uhlig made his orchestral debut at
the Barbican in London. Since then he has appeared at leading concert halls
across the world, performing with orchestras like the BBC Symphony Orchestra,
the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, the Dresden
Philharmonic, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra,
the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, the National Symphony Orchestra
of Taiwan, the Bavarian Radio Chamber Orchestra, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra
and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. He has worked with conductors like Krzysztof
Penderecki, Josep Caballé, Claus Peter Flor, Eivind Gullberg Jensen, Kristjan
Järvi, Michail Jurowski, Michael Sanderling and Gerard Schwarz.
Florian Uhlig has performed at the
Beethoven Festivals of Bonn and Warsaw, the Casals Festival, Lorin Maazel’s
Castleton Festival, the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, the Hong Kong Arts
Festival, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, France Musique Paris, the
Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Schwetzingen Festival and the Vienna
Festwochen.
His solo activities Florian Uhlig is much
in demand as a chamber musician and lieder pianist. He was the last partner of
the legendary baritone Hermann Prey. In 2009, As Artistic Director, Florian
Uhlig founded the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival in South Africa.
Appointed Professor of Piano at the
Musikhochschule Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden in 2014, Florian Uhlig is
assuming the same role at the Musikhochschule Lübeck since October 2019. Florian
Uhlig was accorded Associateship of the Royal Academy of Music in London in May
2015.
