at the upper-right of the page.The 30th International Symposium on Electronic/Emerging Art (ISEA2025) will be held from Friday 23 May to Thursday 29 May 2025, across various venues in Seoul, including the Seoul Arts Center and Seoul National University.
Established in 1990 by the international non-profit organisation ISEA International in the Netherlands, ISEA is a global symposium that brings together experts in electronic art creation, theory, and technology, fostering a convergence of culture, art, science, and technology.
This year, the 30th edition of ISEA will be held in Seoul, South Korea, under the theme ‘Dong-Dong (憧憧): Creators’ Universe’, promoting a vision of global unity.
ISEA2025 seeks to explore a new worldview that transcends the boundaries between East and West, art and science, materiality and spirituality, and technology and humanity. Seoul, a city where tradition and modernity coexist, will serve as a platform for creative exchange.
The exhibition will feature works selected through international open calls and representative pieces from Art & Tech institutions, including AR/VR, performances, and interactive, artworks. Additionally, specialised media art education programs for children and seniors will be organised by Art Center Nabi.

Seoul Calligraphy Art MuseumMuseum representing Korean calligraphy
Seoul Calligraphy Art Museum, which opened in 1988, is the world’s first-ever exhibition venue dedicated to calligraphy. Traditional works as well as contemporary works are continuously presented in 3 exhibition halls. The oriental atmosphere of the calligraphy art museum is the only one in the world which preserves the culture of the Chinese characters, and thus has been drawing many foreign visitors. There is also a calligraphy education academy which is open to the general public.
All performances, except for children-specific ones, are suitable for elementary school students and older. If proof of age cannot be provided, entry will not be permitted regardless of ticket possession or accompaniment by a guardian. (Excluding performances aimed at children.)
We encourage travel by public transport because you may not be able to enter the venue before the performance start time due to parking lot congestion.

※ Cancellation Fees for Exhibition Tickets:
- Tickets with Time Slots: Cancellation fees apply according to the same standards as for rental performances at the Seoul Arts Center
- General Exhibition Tickets: There is no cancellation fee until 7 days after ticket purchase, and a 10% cancellation fee is charged from the 8th day onwards.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
- The Box Office is very crowded when an event is about to begin. We strongly recommend collecting your ticket at least 30 minutes before the performance starts.
